Frankie Payne obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Millersville University and Graduated with a master’s in science in Nursing at Widener University. She spent 15 years as a Trauma/Emergency room nurse in the Metropolitan area of Baltimore Maryland during the Heroine epidemic that spawned the movie, “the Wire”. Ms. Payne has supported the legalization of Marijuana by becoming a member of NORML (National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws). she received her Medical Marijuana certification from the Massachusetts Medical Society and has been prescribing Medical Marijuana since 2018. Ms. Payne is listed on the New York State Department of Health Registry for providers who prescribe medical Marijuana and works in a family health clinic as a primary provider in Ridgewood Queens.
Frankie Payne believes that providers should give a non-judgmental, compassionate, understanding approach to patients request for Marijuana which is too often mistaken for drug seeking behavior.
